In 2006 I found myself struggling in my marriage as well as sinking further and further into debt.  At that point my now exhusband had really maxed us out on a number of credit cards and credit lines.  We were struggling on one income to make even the minimum payments.  At one point in talking with my financial advisor he suggested Neutral Ground and Rosey Guthrie as one who had helped his aunt and could possibly help me rather than going the route of a debt consolidator. 

It wasn't until summer of 2007 when I was left to deal with my debt on my own that I finally was brave enough to contact Rosey.  By now I wasn't making payments at all and the credit counsellors were hounding and threatening me, which I found extremely stressful.  It was such a relief to find someone that cared and was willing to help and knew the legalities of credit counsellors that I didn't know.  I was very relieved to be able to leave it in Neutral Grounds capable hands, to no longer have the credit counsellors hounding me and was easier to just wait and trust that Rosey knew what she was doing.  It took 2 1/2 years and I was so thrilled to finally have that debt dealt with this year. 

I was totally comfortable with Rosey's knowledge and her willingness to do the negotiations and hold out for the best deal that worked for us all, no matter how long it took.  In the end I basically had approximately 73% of my debt forgiven on each credit card and credit line.  I am so thankful now that I went this route as otherwise I would be in debt forever.   Now I can work with a clean slate again, which is so freeing. 
I wish I had signed up with Neutral Ground sooner.  Thank you to Neutral Ground and Rosey Guthrie for coming to my rescue.  Due to this experience I have passed on this business to a number of friends who have also struggled and will continue to pass the word around.

Neutral Ground has been a real head start for me. I am a single mother who just graduated from university. I had student loans, personal loans and two credit cards at their limits, my situation was very frustrating and I felt like I was drowning in climbing interest rates that would never allow me to pay off the principle and phone calls from collection agencies demanding payment.

Over the last 16 years a series of three financial reversals, all beyond our control, left us with considerable unsecured debt, no investments or savings, and very limited income since we are now both seniors relying primarily on CPP & OAS for our income. We discussed our situation with a bankruptcy trustee who recommended Neutral Ground Arbitration & Negotiation as a possible alternative.
